“What angel wakes me from my flowery bed?” A Midsummer Night’s Dream. William Shakespeare.
I am happy to publish what will probably be my last personal illustration of the year. 2017 has been full of professional projects that have fascinated me, but at the same time they have left me little free time to create more personal pieces. ‘Titania’ is one of the few that I have been able to make in these months, and I have a special love for her.
This babe can also be found as exclusive print at my Boutique (www.shop.cristinalonso.com) and as a phone case produced by The Dairy. If you want to give a new Fairy Queen vibe to your life, do not let her go!
We’re also running a giveaway of an Iphone/Samsung case of your choose on Instagram. Just click on the image bellow to have the chance to get one of these beauties! Good luck! ;)
As I told you in a previous post, I recently had the pleasure of illustrate La Journée de la Muse Campaign for French luxury lingerie brand Maison Close. Today I wanna share with you some pics of their Gazette and the promotional flyers, featuring the muse. Enjoy them! ;)
A sexy new work for luxe French lingerie label Maison Close!
Maison Close is organizing on April 22nd an unique event, their first Journée de la Muse (litterally: The Day of the Muse), which will be a day dedicated to celebrating women and femininity. We teamed up to design a drawing that symbolize their “Muse”, evoking an old-fashioned magazine cover with a delicate gold lace pattern as background.
I absolutely loved working on this image – after all, what can be better than a gorgeous luxury lingerie set and a touch of rich red on the lips? Not to mention my soft spot for all things french (and all things vintage!).
During the two upcoming weeks, Maison Close is planning several delicate attentions and special offers… included this exceptional 1000€ voucher (1,000€ that’s right!), valid on their entire e-shop, to treat yourself to the lingerie wardrobe of your dreams! Enter the draw here.
The 100 Grados Team asked me to do the cover of their #12 issue (July 2015), under the theme “Ojos que no ven, corazón que no siente” (‘Out of Sight, Out of Heart’). In addition to that honor, they also asked me to do a video interview (only in Spanish version). Thanks a lot for this chance, guys, a real pleasure!
In the following video you can see a “deconstruction’ of the cover, where I show my digital technique with layers over the analog drawing. Hope this can be helpful! In addition to this, in collaboration with 100Grados, we’ve launched a new giveaway! You can win one of my prints if you share this #12 issue on different social networks. See how here and enjoy! XX
