Recently, I had the great pleasure of being interviewed by the Spanish Fashion Magazine La Moda en las calles. A really lovely interview focused on my work process, my lifestyle as illustrator and a lot of fun facts (only in Spanish this time).
Find this issue in newsstands this September (or take a look at the online version, pages 126-127).
Thanks a lot for this amazing double page!
As I told you in a previous post, I recently had the pleasure of illustrate La Journée de la Muse Campaign for French luxury lingerie brand Maison Close. Today I wanna share with you some pics of their Gazette and the promotional flyers, featuring the muse. Enjoy them! ;)
This time I had to work against the clock, since all -the documentation phase, development and completion of the six illustrations-, had to be done in just three days, due to the time frames of the printing house. I remember that I was contacted by creative director on a Friday late night, from Washington, after weeks of intense work without rest or a free weekend. I was begging for a weekend of peace, I was exhausted, but I said: it’s a challenge. You can do it!
Sometimes editorial and advertising illustration projects require a very fast workflow, and this time was quite challenging for me. But I try place high demands on myself at work and I love challenges, so… here is the result!
In addition to the printed copy of the magazine, you can read the article ‘6 Easy DIY Floral Crown Hairstyles‘ on Washingtonian’s blog and see the six live illustrations.
